As a project for Kyle R. Triplett’s course LIS 689: Rare Books and Special Collections in Fall 2017, I created a mini digital exhibition featuring books from NYU Fales Special Collections, the Library of Congress, and my personal collection. These five items were chosen to illustrate the range of representations of women, womanhood, and female identity that have appeared in science fiction stories.
